Reemski, I did send them an email and they graciously phoned me an appolgised….even offered to have a free coffee waiting for me tomorrow morning …. not that i could ever go back now.

The guy who runs the cafe is very passionate about it, but if you employ staff who are rude to customers, then none of that matters.

I applaud them for having the decency to call me though and acknowledge their mistake.

Hi Tony, I think that justifies a letter to the cafe. I haven’t been there since they moved premises, and back then there was a very small tight knit and regular team there, that performed amazingly considering the tiny space they used to have.

This cafe has the rudest person I have ever encountered working behind the counter.

After complaining that she had put sugar in my coffee, the woman started berating me in front of the customers telling me that “if say NO SUGAR, then I automatically hear the word SUGAR and write it on the cup”. “If you dont want sugar just DONT SAY ANYTHING!!”

No, this isnt an episode of Seinfeld, this is actually happening in Dank St Waterloo.

Best avoided – coffee not good enough to put up with rude staff.

Yes, cute dog though.
